Each year thousands of horses face a horrid death in U.S. slaughterhouses to be shipped overseas for human consumption. Many more are trucked from the U.S. to Canadian slaughterhouses for the same purpose.
Many horses are trucked in double deck trailers long distances without food, water, or rest. Some have broken limbs, some so thin they can barely stand. All forced into over-crowded trailers ment for small livestock.
